OPALE Énergies Naturelles is an independent company specializing in the development of wind energy projects. It employs 15 people across two sites in France, including 7 projects managers from different backgrounds with varied and complementary skill sets. The team includes highly-trained engineers, economists, lawyers, landscapers and town planners; all are involved across the board on each project.

The management team is one of the most experienced on the French onshore market and consists of four people who have worked in wind energy each for over ten years. They are the source of over 500 MW of building permits issued in France (with a 90% success rate on a MW basis), of which over 350 MW have been built, and over 400 MW of ZDE obtained.

OPALE-EN’s people employs best practice techniques in development, are intimately familiar with the legal and regulatory framework of the French wind market and have been pioneers in the geographical areas in which they operate and where they are fully integrated in the administrative customs, politics and communities.

Opale Énergies Naturelles offers to its customers an expertise in wind energy project development and consulting across all stages of development, from ZDE feasibility studies to building permits and ICPE submissions. Its services include : assisting local authorities in the preparation of ZDE files, signing of land lease agreements, carrying out technical, environmental and landscape studies, and preparing the full set of administrative files necessary for the consenting of wind energy projects. Opale Énergies Naturelles also offers third party administrative and technical due diligence for wind energy projects or portfolios.
